Does BoomCloud write membership charges back to my practice management ledger?

Only a small number of practice management systems actually permit a true ledger write-back, and platforms that market "full integration" often deliver far less than that in day-to-day use. BoomCloud takes the approach practices actually run: BoomCloud owns the subscription ledger — enrollments, dues, renewals, failed payments and member status — and most practices flag the membership inside their PMS with an alert or a pseudo-insurance plan so the front desk sees member status where they already work.

Do membership payments create credits in my practice management system?

No — and that is deliberate. Posting membership dues as credits in the PMS creates balances your team has to reconcile every month, which is more work than the integration saves. BoomCloud keeps membership dues in the subscription ledger and the PMS keeps treatment and claims, so nothing has to be untangled later.

How does membership money get into my bank account?

BoomCloud connects directly to your practice's bank account. Members pay by card or ACH inside BoomCloud, and deposits settle to your account like any other card settlement — itemized and easy to reconcile. Your accountant works from bank deposits plus BoomCloud's membership reports, not from PMS ledger entries.

Isn't a PMS ledger integration better for accounting?

In practice it is usually the opposite. A ledger integration means every membership payment has to be posted into the patient ledger as a credit, then reconciled against real deposits — duplicate work for the front desk every month. BoomCloud's approach is stronger for accounting: the membership ledger lives in BoomCloud, money flows straight to your bank account, and the PMS ledger stays clean for treatment and insurance.

Does BoomCloud integrate with Open Dental?

Yes. Open Dental is one of the practice management systems BoomCloud integrates with, alongside Dentrix and Eaglesoft. BoomCloud runs alongside Open Dental rather than replacing it — Open Dental keeps scheduling, charting and claims, and BoomCloud runs the membership plan.

Does BoomCloud integrate with Dentrix?

Yes. Dentrix is a supported integration, along with Eaglesoft and Open Dental. There is no rip-and-replace — your team keeps working in Dentrix and BoomCloud handles membership enrollment, billing, renewals and reporting.

Does BoomCloud integrate with Eaglesoft?

Yes. Eaglesoft is a supported integration alongside Dentrix and Open Dental.

What if my practice management system is not on the list?

Our team will scope an integration for the system you run today. Software integration add-ons are available on every BoomCloud plan, and BoomCloud is designed to run alongside any management system, so you are never asked to switch software to use it.

Do I have to move off my current software to use BoomCloud?

No. BoomCloud is membership plan software, not practice management software. It sits alongside whatever you already run.

Can I use BoomCloud without practice management software?

Yes — and you are not alone. Many practices start with BoomCloud before they have picked a PMS, and others run it standalone by choice because it keeps the membership ledger clean. You get the full plan builder, online enrollment, member agreements, recurring billing, renewals and reporting out of the box. If you connect a practice management system later, your data comes with you. If you never do, the membership program still runs exactly the same.

What does BoomCloud integrate with outside dentistry?

Dental integrations are live today — Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental.
